Cookin'

Cooking a pig for the yearly turkey shoot at the range...
It was awesome...
I did get to shoot this year...

One shot, one win.

Somewhat weird but cool to see the Caja China outside its natural habitat.

I'm snacking on pulled pork from the crock pot now but I bet yours was better.

The free-range LCC roaming the wilds of North Florida...
Getting lots of use this season - Used it Saturday, using it again Friday AM, and one of our SalesChicks is using it on Saturday for a football party.
Getting pretty popular...

@BillA
Yes- I like the whole pig presentation. We did it last year where we picked the whole carcass and served it in aluminum trays.
It loses some of the presentation value of cooking the whole hog when served like that.
(But some people don't like their dinner looking at them. Go figger.)

@Unk
Mmmm. Quick 'n easy pulled pork. Yummm. Crock pot or pit cooked or LCC = All good.

@ONFO
It takes more planning for the apple- you have to put a block of wood in the jaws before cooking, then swap it out for the apple before serving. I ain't got time for dat.
Ain't nobody got time for dat!

@KX
Uh, thanks, but no. Sadly. A trick of the perspective from the photog's vantage point.

@Luc
Bite your tongue!
Not on my worst day...
(Not everyone can be a malnourished Canadistanian like you, Bucko.)
