(I could be wrong- it says 'Police'... Could be a local yokel.)
I did a doubletake-

Yep -an AR bike mount...
I guess they are good Boy Scouts- Be Prepared!
Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it...
And being on two wheels is no excuse to be ill-prepared.
I'll need to see if they have a mount like that for the Yamaha FJR.

Saw a Phoenix, AZ bike cop with that mount and my first thought was, "look, free Aimpoint PRO!" because the QD2 mount screw is right there... thumb tight...

CHP have been on BMWs for quite a few years. Starting to see more new HDs as well.
That is a nice mount, and no they don't get too far from their bikes...
