removing the sign was obviously not covered in the scope of work and would require mountains of paper work and a very expensive change order. No occupant in the building could be expected to remove the sign as it is not in their job description and would required that they remove themselves from the air conditioning and lift their fat ass of their ergonomic chair before lunch, 4:30pm or quitting time, whichever comes first. If I had to guess, I'd say that was a government building.
You read that wrong. That is an exit just for fire, not for people.
