I got this one while I was still in Sochi...
I decided it would be prudent to avoid poking the KGB (or it's bastard stepchilluns) in the eye whilst still in-country.

    My current paperback read is Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago...
    Frightening stuff.
    Word around the campfire is that the book is now mandatory high school reading material in Russia (as of 2009).
    Color me amazed, based on how graphically it shows how corrupt and cruel the Soviet machine was.
