might be, but I watched a teenager do something very similar at a basketball game where a runaway ball was about to smack the mother of a friend in the face. He heard the last bounce behind him and casually turned and palmed it away.
I watched 5 or 6 times in a row and couldn't see the ball take off towards shortstop. What I did see is a reflection of light off the bat. Regardless, this vid is starting to build some buzz on the interwebs, mostly because of debates such as this.
Looks fake. Something not quite right about the path of the ball right before he catches it. Quick Google says it may be for a shaving cream add.
ReplyDeleteIts a viral marketing vid :)

ReplyDeleteHaving been a ball player, I have seen balls come off a bat and hook like that many times.
ReplyDeleteTake a look at a pitch coming out of a pitcher's hand at 95mph, it will do some wild stuff.
I'm not saying with 100% certainty that it's real, but I wouldn't be so quick to say that it was fake, either.
Hi again.. watch the slow mo in this vid.. you can see the real ball go straight out to short stop- third base area.. :)

ReplyDeleteClearly, Longoria is a racist. Consider:
ReplyDelete1. He saved the reporter from being smacked in the head with a batted ball.
2. She's black, the batter was white.
3. She no longer has a grievance. He TOOK that from her. Another example of THE WHITE MAN taking from the sisters.
