  1. Lo! Just found your blog the other day on a link from someone else... you know how it is.

I have to admit that anyone with references to Larry Niven, Robert Heinlein, Michael Crichton, Jimmy Buffet AND a snorkeling report from far off lands has to be a good place to read.
About the only author missing was John D. McDonald.

    I'll be here for awhile...

31 shoulder whacks? Was that a long day or just more than enough time with someone who liked to whack?

  2. Rob,

Re: shoulder whacks. Click on the links referencing "travel issues" and "stupid people." TBG travels a lot and writes about it much to our delight. :)

  3. Welcome Rob!

    Glad you stopped by...

I have probably 20 or so John D McDonald novels... He was a great pulp author- his books are a fun, quick read...

    As for shoulder whacks-
I was seated on the aisle fairly forward on the ATH-EWR flight, and I got hit in the shoulder by carry-on bags 31 times...
Since I was traveling with The Woman Who Knows Most Things, I didn't make a scene...
Had I been alone the story would have had a different ending, probably involving an interrogation room and a session with an air marshal and his taser.

    Enjoy your time here-
    Comments are always appreciated.
